Te Aroha College

Te Aroha College is the rural co-educational school that has served in the town of Te Aroha for over 50 years.  We have a rich heritage of both academic and sporting success. We aim to build on that heritage by aiming to have students leave our school well rounded, ambitious and successful members of their family, community and world.  With a roll of just over 400 students, we are able to have smaller classes and more one on one attention and with the help of a skilled team of support staff ensure that students receive the best education possible.

Te Aroha College aims to meet the needs of its students by ensuring that physical resources, teaching practice, personalised learning systems and wider ranging co-curricular activities cater for optimal student achievement.

At Te Aroha College we aim to develop each student to reach their full potential in all aspects of school life and to have the confidence to do so.  We want to encourage success and help our students to overcome the barriers to success whilst providing a wide range of learning and social development opportunities.  This will help our students to be proud of themselves, their family, their district and their country and will help them to strive to reach their full potential in all aspects of school and personal life.  We encourage the highest standards of personal behaviour and responsible caring citizenship.
